Book Club at the Park in Plantation, FL.

A weekly in-person gathering for those seeking inner peace, presence, and aliveness.

Each session, we choose one spiritual book that helps you let go of striving and awaken to something deeper. We meet weekly to reflect, share insights, and explore how to apply the teachings to everyday life.

It’s not a lecture—it’s casual, meaningful, and fun. A space for connection, conversation, and community. We wrap up the final week with a potluck celebration!

Whether it’s your first time with the book or a return visit, it’s a chance to dive deeper—together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this affiliated with any religion or religious group?

Nope. This is a non-religious, down-to-earth space for exploring spirituality, presence, and living a more intentional life. We’re cool people — no crystals, no woo-woo, no preaching. Just honest conversations about how to live with more peace and awareness, whatever your background or beliefs.

Do I need to have read the book beforehand?

Nope — we’ll be reading the book together over several weeks, so you don’t need to finish it before joining. You’re welcome to come even if you haven’t started yet. That said, once you know you’re planning to attend, it’s ideal to grab the book and read the chapters ahead of time for more context.

What if I’m new to spirituality or personal growth?

Perfect — this group is for you. It’s casual, welcoming, and there’s no pressure to know anything in advance. Just show up curious and open.

How many people usually come?

We’re not sure yet—this is our very first time hosting the group! Come be part of something new and help shape the community from the ground up.

What should I bring?

A blanket, mat, or folding chair to sit on, plus some water. And maybe a notebook if you like to jot things down. We’ll be outside, so come comfy!

Is there any cost to join?

Nope — this group is completely free. Just join our WhatsApp text group and show up.

Where exactly in the park do you meet?

We meet under the trees on the grass between the tennis courts, playground, and bathrooms. It’s hard to miss us!

What’s the vibe like?

Think: Sunday morning fresh air. Relaxed, friendly, curious, honest. No gurus, no woo-woo, no religious stuff or hippies. More like a yoga retreat vibe mixed with busy working parents looking to slow down, get outdoors, unplug from phones, and meet new friends they can eventually go kayaking with.
